WMD at the top of Cambra d’Ase
Last summit of GMG before the summer heat arrives: Cambra d’Ase, in French Cerdany. On a cloudy morning at the beginning of June, we left the Eina ski slopes car park to take a circular route with beautiful views towards the Cerdanya Valley and Conflent towards the north, and the peaks of l’Olla de Núria towards the south (Puigmal, Finestrelles, Noufonts…) which we had traveled on a previous outing. The route goes around the glacial cirque at the highest point of which is the summit of Cambra d’Ase (2,726 m). In total, an itinerary of around 10 kilometers and almost 1,000 meters of elevation gain. We will continue to climb mountains, the effort of the climb is fully rewarded by the satisfaction of a good walk, of having reached another peak, of a good time with fellow travelers… like when we do a good project d ‘architecture or urban planning.
