PATRIZIA acquires PIPS ABRERA. IMPLICA continues to manage the Park

The German investment fund PATRIZIA acquired from LIBERBANK last June the PIPS ABRERA Logistics Park (www.pipsabrera.com) located in the Sant Ermengol industrial estate in Abrera, facing the A2 motorway and very close to the AP7 motorway. This Park has a surface area of more than 70,000 m2 and some 50,000 m2 of built area distributed in 6 logistics warehouses of different sizes and an office building. The complex was developed more than 25 years ago to house SEAT’s logistics suppliers. IMPLICA has been in charge of the management of the Park (Property Management) since 2012, when LIBERBANK acquired the whole complex in liquidation of the previous owner. This real estate transaction has been the most important in the industrial and logistics sector in Catalonia during the first half of this year and was closed during the weeks of the first confinement. This is another testimony to the attractiveness of this type of asset for institutional investors despite the COVID 19 pandemic. Despite the change of ownership, IMPLICA continues to manage the Park in the interests of PATRIZIA.
