New administrative building on the Rambla de Iberia in Sabadell
At GMG we are working on the project and project management of a new tertiary building on Rambla d’Iberia in Sabadell. The building, promoted by a heritage group, will consist of a commercial ground floor, a first floor intended for office use and a basement parking floor. With a total built surface of around 3,300m2, the building project has been designed with sufficient flexibility to be able to adapt it to the different uses that may be required by the potential tenants of the property.
Prior to the executive building project, GMG’s urban planning team has drawn up a detailed study that must resolve the assignment of a 3-meter strip along the entire front, which will be incorporated as space public on the Rambla d’Iberia and define the general volume of the future building. However, the current planning envisages a 30% reduction in the occupation of the site, which is currently built over old industrial buildings that have become obsolete.
The final approval of the urban part is expected for the end of summer and we already have a building permit to demolish the buildings. In the month of September we will start the demolition and we will be waiting to receive the license for major works to start the construction of the building planned for the end of the year.
