GMG has processed 14 ICAEN subsidy application files in the field of energy saving and efficiency in the 2011 call

GMG 17/01/12

GMG has been managing 14 requests for subsidies for energy savings and efficiency that have been published in the DOGC at the beginning of December 2011. The 14 requests have been made on behalf of and in collaboration with companies involved in energy saving and with a clear sustainable growth strategy.

The different lines that have been processed, with subsidies of up to 75% of the eligible cost, are:

– Subsidies for carrying out energy audits.

– Subsidies for the modification of the thermal envelope of buildings other than homes.

– Subsidies for the modification of interior lighting systems.

– Subsidies for the modification of air conditioning systems.

– Subsidies for the construction of homes with a high energy rating.

– Subsidies for the development of building projects with a high energy rating.

To carry out the work associated with these grants, GMG has a series of state-of-the-art measurement and monitoring equipment that can be used to analyze, among other things, additional details of the building envelope and which are responsible for a very important part of energy consumption. The equipment that GMG makes available to its clients for the development of the works are:

– Thermal camera.

– Multifunctional equipment to measure temperature, humidity, pressure, CO2 concentration, combustion quality, lighting level, thermal transmittance and air flow, among other parameters.

– Analyzer of electrical networks with the capacity to measure the most common harmonic parameters: flickers, imbalances, etc.

All these grants from the ICAEN and which have been managed by GMG, are driven by the certainty that a no less valuable part of the solutions to the economic viability of a company must focus on sustainable development and savings energetic.

The works corresponding to each subsidy line will be carried out throughout 2012. The maximum percentage that could be subsidized under the regulated regime will be equivalent to 75% of the costs of each action.

We work for sustainability, to mitigate climate change, and to leave a better world for future generations.
