GMG carries out an energy optimisation study for Calldetenes Town Council

On behalf of the Barcelona Provincial Council, GMG’s technical team carried out a 6-month study to evaluate the energy performance of the Calldetenes Town Hall and propose the necessary corrective measures to turn the municipal facility into an example of energy efficiency and sustainability.

The work involved dynamic and static energy simulations, electrical and thermal monitoring, analysis of bills, thermographic studies and, above all, a unique process of collaboration with the municipal technicians and the manager of the Diputació de Barcelona. The results of the work, presented to the mayor of the town, have received the approval and interest in obtaining specific funds to apply those corrective measures with the greatest impact on economic savings, reduction of non-renewable energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Once again, GMG in collaboration with the public administration, develops a project to improve the conditions of use and behaviour of a municipal building and being consistent throughout the process, with the vision of our team to maintain the commitment to environmental protection and sustainability.
