GMG finalist in the Catalunya Construcció 2023 awards with The Yellow Nest building

The Yellow Nest building has been a finalist in the 20th edition of the Catalunya Construcció 2023 Awards organized annually by CATEB, the College of Technical Architecture in Barcelona. Among a total of 136 projects presented, and 23 candidates selected as finalists, our project has been ranked second in the Energy Rehabilitation category. The jury’s evaluation highlighted all the passive architectural resources introduced in the building as well as the highly efficient installations that allow it to function as a Positive Energy Building. The prizes were handed out at the celebratory event that took place on June 29 at Barcelona’s charm market. We want to share this success, the result of the efforts of the entire GMG architecture and engineering team, with the developer of the building, Smilics Technologies, with the TRT Arquitectura Tècnica team and with the construction company BSO Obres i Serveis.
