GMG carries out a comprehensive energy study in the Calldetenes Town Hall and other buildings managed by the Provincial Council of Barcelona

As part of the effort made by the infrastructure area of the Diputació de Barcelona in collaboration with local entities to improve the energy efficiency of the different public buildings it manages or collaborates with, s has trusted the technical team of GMG to develop a technical study that determines, quantifies and economically values all the possible corrective measures that in terms of energy efficiency are likely to be applied to the headquarters of the City Council of shut up

This study, with a duration of 3 months, will include the energy analysis or simulation of the current state of the building, the monitoring of the different parameters that affect the energy behavior, the particularization of each of the necessary corrective measures in correspondence with the use of each space, and the additional simulations to evaluate the final impact of the action proposals.

The final objective of this collaboration will be to define the measures that are technically and economically viable, to apply for the required funds and implement their execution before the end of 2024.

This project is the starting point of a study that includes 3 more buildings managed by the Diputació de Barcelona, such as: La Morera Parc del Montseny), Can Grau (Parc del Garraf) and La Pastora (Parc de Sant Llorenç).

GMG’s aim, with its comprehensive proposals in terms of works and installations, is to help turn buildings with very poor energy performance into an example of sustainability, efficiency and comfort.
